Have you noticed in the past few days that we are being inundated with TONS of information on minor tidbits in the news? Well, they aren’t really minor tidbits, but they are really distracting.

Big deal, you say? A VERY big deal, I say. Why, you ask? Because, I answer.

Right now, Obama and his cronies are looking to pass four HUGE bills that, combined, will utterly destroy our economy and in the long run, our country.

The first item, which we have been highlighting repeatedly here, is the healthcare plan. The main Scoundrel has explained this so beautifully I don’t need to address this issue here at all.

The second is the “Cap and Trade” plan, which will cost each household an “estimated” $ 4,500.00 annually. (And we all know how close the government comes with its estimations, don’t we?). The “unexpected consequences” of this plan will be the loss of hundreds of thousands of jobs due to companies being forced to move their operations overseas to countries that do not have this ridiculous policy and tax system; such as India or China. This also means the LOSS of revenue to DC when these businesses no longer operate in the US. And all of this to curtail a global warming which has been PROVEN to be a fallacy; based upon a flawed model; and completely ridiculous. Heck, Arizona just went 14 days with temperatures below 100 degrees. The first time since 1913! Yeah. Global warming.

The third is the illegal alien issue. According to CNSNews.com yesterday:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D.-Nev.) vowed Monday that the Senate would consider a “comprehensive” immigration reform bill that would include giving amnesty to illegal aliens—an item he referred to as “bringing the 11 million people out of the shadows.”
Reid said that Senate consideration of a massive new immigration bill would come after the Senate dealt with the health-care issue and energy.

Of course. Reid also says that he wants to have a comprehensive guest worker program. Now, the US currently has 14.5 million people on the unemployment rolls. How the heck are we going to support a guest worker program? Obviously, logistics are not a big issue in Washington DC lately.

Reid acknowledges the rapidity of the bills being considered; and also talked about his need to cram it in. (Although he didn’t exactly use that phraseology):

“We’re going to do it all at once,” he said, “and we’re going to have comprehensive immigration reform that will include taking care of our borders, a decent guest-worker program, bringing the 11 million people out of the shadows, doing something that is so important with the employer sanctions bill that really is a catch-22 for everyone.”

“We’re going to do it all in one piece of legislation, not give people an excuse that they voted for one thing and think that they’re through with it,” said Reid.

The fourth major issue is the EFCA – or the Union Card Check bill. The main Scoundrel has also posted some very eye-opening videos on union activities this past week. Go check them out if you would like to see what the unions REALLY do! We also have a “Union” tab with more articles on the EFCA and the unions. I also found a piece in Neal Bortz’s “NealzNuze” today, taken from the Heritage Foundation on some fascinating but under reported facts on the unions.  http://boortz.com/nealz_nuze/2009/06/how-about-them-unions.html

The big problem here is that Obama is jamming all these CRISIS bills into being at such a rapid rate, that most of the populace is completely bewildered. They are also concentrating focus on Iran and now, Governor Sanford; and other extraneous things to keep us distracted. If you keep the people confused and disoriented they won’t be aware of what is going on. Sort of like a magician’s sleight of hand. Watch what is going with this hand; and pay no attention to what this other hand is doing.

It is our job to STAY FOCUSED. We need to keep faxing our positions to our representatives. We cannot stop; and we cannot let them hornswaggle us. If we don’t, within the month we will be done as a country of independence and freedom. Mark my words.

  1. CNS News is funded by Exxon-Mobil. You’re listening to the same groups that told us back in 1992 that smoking doesn’t cause lung cancer. Try reading a book about climate science by a real climate scientist: I recommend Dire Predictions by Michael Mann.

    • I recommend you see the article/video about the 30,000 SCIENTISTS that are suing Al Gore for fraud.

And since you have a hard time with this, we’ll re state it for you – all we quoted CNS news about was illegal immigration my friend. Not one bit of the Cap and Trade came from CNS.

We’re not sure, but it seems like Exxon paid for the Valdez incident (quite a bit, as they should have) and while we aren’t sure about your conspiracy information about CNS and Exxon, we’re not sure why that would invalidate one opinion over another.

Wasn’t Michael Mann one of the ones screaming ice age some time before the global warming “crisis”?

I’ll do a little research on him – seems to me I have heard some interesting tidbits regarding his “science”.

Snow in Montana in June – I know we had 30 degree temps in VA til the end of May.

Temps overall in the last hundred years have risen less than one degree overall. We have been recording the history of this planet’s temps for just around a century out of billions and we know there have been warm periods and at least 2 ice ages in between the warm periods.

There are a lot of scientists who claim that you and Mann are wrong – that it is a cycle of life on this world and that volcanoes and such are a far greater source of any greenhouse gases than all of mankind.

You have your opinion, we have ours.

      • Ah – here we go – now let’s pay attention.

1850 was the first temperature recording

The hockey stick developed by Michael Mann shows in 2004 at the WORST – ready for this – less than .6 degrees rise.

And there are recordings that show the last decade has actually had a loss of .7 degrees.

By the way – that chart of the hockey stick – the majority of it is a guess. You do know that right?

Just like Al Gore’s little chart? Which shows what, by the way? Cycles? From your religious prophet?

And, by the way, there are people that are showing that Al Gore’s little chart actually shows that temps went up before CO2 emissions – and that possibly it is the temps that cause the CO2 to rise.

Don’t mention things like that, but the information is out there to be found.

Imagine if I did some deep digging?

  2. The age-old pesky U.S.-Mexico border problem has taxed the resources of both countries, led to long lists of injustices, and appears to be heading only for worse troubles in the future. Guess what? The border problem can never be solved. Why? Because the border IS the problem! It’s time for a paradigm change.

Never fear, a satisfying, comprehensive solution is within reach: the Megamerge Dissolution Solution. Simply dissolve the border along with the failed Mexican government, and megamerge the two countries under U.S. law, with mass free 2-way migration eventually equalizing the development and opportunities permanently, with justice and without racism, and without threatening U.S. sovereignty or basic principles.
