Pelosi off Scott Free? Typical!

While perusing “Nealz Nuze” on Neal Boortz’s web site this evening, one of his tidbits was this AP article, “House rejects probe into Pelosi CIA  claims”

Republicans Ron Paul of Texas and Walter Jones of North Carolina joined Democrats in voting 252-172 to block the measure, which would have created a bipartisan congressional panel. Rep. Rob Bishop, R-Utah, sponsored the resolution.

The article goes on to say that the Dems are claiming that, “This is partisan politics and an attempt by the Republicans to distract from the real issue of creating jobs and making progress on health care, energy and education,”  As though, first of all that was true, and second of all that it was an unheard of ploy.  (Can anyone say Aspirin Factory vs. Monica Lewinsky???)

It is amazing how quickly the congress voted to investigate any little thing during the previous presidency, but when there is ample reason for one of THEM to be investigated:

But the Republican-drafted proposal was a partisan jab meant to distract from the question of whether the Bush administration tortured war prisoners, he said.  [Steny] Hoyer called the resolution another example of Republicans engaging in “politics of personal destruction.”

I am personally horrified by the continuing hypocrisy as well as the fact that we aren’t hearing MORE NOISE on the conservative side.  I appreciate that Dick Cheney and Boehner are stepping up, but we need more.  And to all the Republicans who continuously throw their lot in with these mealy mouthed, socialistic cretins who are running our country into the toilet – YOU CAN BE VOTED STRAIGHT OUT OF OFFICE, and that is our prime goal.  Remember, 2010 will come far sooner than you think.

  1. I don’t see this as an attack on Pelosi at all. We, as the American voting public, need to know if the CIA lied or if Pelosi lied. Either way, those who lied need to be held accountable for their actions or words in this case.

    • I agree with you whole heartedly. If, as ‘they’ say, the CIA is wholely responsible, then shouldn’t the dems WANT an investigation?? Wouldn’t they WELCOME the chance to prove that all Pelosi has been saying is absolutely true??

      Thanks for the comment!
