Lawmaker Defends Imprisoning Hostile Bloggers | Threat Level

Lawmaker Defends Imprisoning Hostile Bloggers | Threat Level.

It’s getting scary out there.

I have to stop and think that someone might come up with some common sense to the whole “it’s for the children”.

I know about being bullied. Been there, have 3 dozen t shirts. I was the smallest in class until 10th grade.

Papa Federal Government is NOT necessary to get involved in this.

Why in the world do we have to have a federal mandate about something that could then turn around and be used to tamper with people who oppose others.

I disagreed with a person earlier and he with me. Who should be punished for being aggressive or a bully?

I hope it won’t happen. I don’t think we’d allow it. But I think after smoking, gun control, welfare, social programs and such that all started with good intentions and really small – look at ’em now.

It is constantly brought in so slowly – I hate to use the frog theory that has been over used lately, but there it is.

Go ahead and think “Eh, it isn’t that big”

Next year, there will be a little amendment. Then the next. Eventually – a full federal internet police force with the authority to wipe blogs out they don’t like.

Can’t happen?

Remember that little known president – Woodrow Wilson?

A lot of people don’t think the government would censor opinion right? Not here in America. Nope.

Right – too bad you’re wrong. Already happened. Read your history (not the watered down crap in your school class).

Wilson kept several dissenting views from being printed and mailed. How you ask? He had the Postmaster of the time ban them from being mailed.

Couldn’t be many right?

Try over 300. 300 different publications. Banned.

Think it can’t happen again?

Uh huh.
